It's no secret that the Department of Human Services has been involved for many years in the "investigation" of child abuse/neglect cases. But what most people don't know, is just how corrupt this system has become...

In Sioux City, there is yet another dark side of the DHS showing it's true colors. Expecting mothers are lured there to live in an apartment, with all expenses paid by a couple who wants the baby (by Iowa law, the expenses can not be paid directly from the adoptive parents to the biological mom...so they use a lawyer as a go-between...Maxine Buckmeier, is one such lawyer.)

They run ads throughout the nation, encouraging pregnant women who don't want to have the baby, to come to Sioux City where they will enjoy a nice apartment with all expenses paid, while they finish their pregnancy. As part of the deal, the mother is to hand over the baby once it is born.

Now, on the surface, this might sound like a good alternative to abortion. But what happens when the mother's natural instincts kick in, and they decide to keep the baby??? ...To me it seems Buckmeier should rename her practice, "Buckmeier's Baby Brokerage"!

"We turn real-live-flesh-and-blood women into baby-making machines who are supposed to give us their products and go away. Well, that's not acceptable on a human level and not acceptable on a practical level." ---Adam Pertman author and executive director of the Evan B. Donaldson Adoption Institute in New York...as quoted by the Sioux City Journal.

...In one recent case, mother Christine Kilmer changed her mind after the birth and decided to keep her baby. In her own words, "She fell in love." ...So, Buckmeier kicked her out of her home, and notified the DHS that the mother would be homeless, and that she certainly couldn't leave the hospital with a newborn. The DHS then swung into action, and seized her 4 year old, and of course the infant. Now, she is in a fight to get her children back.

On additional note...the doctors in these cases usually induce the pregnancies early so as to avoid the initiation of the "nesting period" (so as to more easily separate the mother from her child).

They offered at one point to give back the 4 year old, if she would just sign off on the infant...sick! It's like bartering for babies!!!

What's worse is that while in the "protective" custody of the DHS...the 4 year old girl was sexually assaulted in the foster home in which she was placed.
