GRANDMA LOCKED UP AGAIN!!! ON MAY 30, 2008 GRANDMA WAS LOCKED UP IN CLC POLK CITY NURSING HOME BY THE DHS. This, after 18 months of living at home with her daughter in peace. Since May 30, 2008 she is once again being subjected to Chemical Restraint (forced drugging), She NOW has an OPEN bedsore, she is NOT ALLOWED to go outside at all (even though convicted murderers are)in fact, she is being forced to wear an ankle bracelet with a tracking sensor on in (like those on house arrest wear), and just like before, she is being kept away from all family members, except this time she actually gets to see her daughter (she has a choice between a two hour visit OR a 30 minute phone call). Linda had telephone service installed in Grandma's room and within less than a day, Paula Walzer of the DHS, and her Guardian Puppet, D. Thomas Smith, had the nursing home staff take her phone, and declared the 30 minute limitation on phone calls. Grandma has several great-grandchildren and other relatives who she is not allowed to have visit! The common tactics of the Dept. of Human Services, is to SEVER their Relationship with the Family, and Drug them so they are more manageable. Visit us at the NASGA National Association to Stop Guardian Abuse This CLC Nursing Home is one of the worst in the country. For the last several months, the State has had inspectors in and out of CLC. In fact, the Des Moines Register just ran an article about three executives, GARY TREBERT, STEPHEN EWING, and LARRY MAY, who run (or rather, ran) CLC who were convicted on FEDERAL CHARGES of Fraud for making off with $34 MILLION of YOUR tax money! Paula Walzer of Iowa DHS believes that CLC Nursing Home is somehow "better" for Grandma than being at home...Despite the fact of all the injuries and psychological trauma she has experienced in just the past month and a half at CLC! CLC Polk City was Cited with 22 DEFICIENCIES on June 12, 2008. In fact, at CLC, a patient even BURNED TO DEATH in their care! Yes, that's right."George Baker Jr. was 54 years old when he burned to death in his wheelchair..." ---Des Moines Register, July 15, 2008 Does this sound like a safer environment for Grandma than at home? Now, looking at the issue of $34 million being stolen, and the care in these dungeons only getting worse, one can only ask, "how can this go on?" The simplified answer without going into the 1000's of pages of data: Well that's simple, GREED. The fact is, that the Iowa Department of Human Services under the direction of Kevin Concannon (now Gene Gessow as of Sept. 18, 2008) sees to it that 1000's upon 1000's of our Seniors AND Children are locked away EVERY YEAR. Nursing Homes AND Foster Care are BIG BUSINESS in Iowa...The State of Iowa receives money from the Federal Government. This comes in many forms such as grants and medical payments under Title XIX. The IOWA DHS places all of these "wards" (really kidnapped citizens) onto Welfare, Medicaid, Elderly Waiver, etc. in order that the Federal Funding will come into IOWA...To nursing homes, the Doctors, the GUARDIANS, the Foster Parents, and let's not forget, the LAWYERS! ...Yes, every one of these cases involves the appointing of a "Guardian Ad Litem" ...which is a lawyer who is supposed to look after the "best interests" of the "ward", but instead, does exactly as they are told. Yes, it seems that trampling the Constitutional Rights of our weakest citizens is a very effective way to bolster the State's ecomomy! Now, it doesn't take a rocket scientist to understand what is going on here, which is why the FEDERAL GOVERNMENT is stepping in. The countless social workers (such as PAULA WALZER) "voluntary" Guardians, Attorneys, Doctors, Nursing Homes, and assorted Bureaucrats, all get something out of this mess...Money, and Job Security. The one's who rock the boat and do the right are kept out of the loop. On the other hand, if you "play ball", be a good litte drone, and play your part in this sordid scheme, you will have a nice cushy job and lucrative income... So it seems that "one hand washes the other" as the saying goes. Well, these monsters are going to have a hard time washing all of this grime away! ...Remember the CIETC scandal? Oh, and let's not forget about the Federeal Child Care funding that DHS absconded with. Anyone who is a part of this web of terror can do the right thing and come forward. You are being USED to "legitimacize" these actions and aid in the Fruadulent use of Millions of Tax Payer Dollars. When a grantee, or representative of a grantee (such as the Iowa Department of Human Services and their Social Worker Paula Walzer) make false statments in order to wrongly place someone in a Nursing Home, they are not only violating the person's Constitutionally protected rights, they are committing FRAUD against the U.S. government...in that, the pretext under which the federal funds obtained for each of these cases was false...these social workers actually and their ilk actually create most of these situations (remember, the more people who need "help" the more funding they can appear to justify). (Now, grandma is no millionaire, but if Court-Appointed Guardian D. Thomas Smith of Des Moines, doesn't obey his HUMAN SERVICES keeper Paula Walzer, he risks losing his Gravy Train of more lucrative Guardianships.) ...Here's one from Minnesota: Fox 9 Twin Cities Yes, it seems there is MORE than one TYPE of THIEF for society to worry about! The difference here is that these so-called guardians in conjunction with "Human Services" facilitate the kidnapping, forcible drugging, AND theft from dozens upon dozens of innocent grandparents, and it's getting worse! ...Kinda makes the average criminal seem more like a Jaywalker doesn't it?
